Yes sir correct. Solder any three wires to the 1,2,and 3 pins. We suggest also sleeving them in the small heat shrink tubing. The easiest way we have found is to fill up the connector with solder, then insert the wire while keeping the connector hot with the soldering iron. One can also clamp the rear of the connector pin on to the wire by crushing it then soldering. The first method is preferred though, the pins are short and we havevdamaged them prior trying the crush method.
Apologies, but I would like to get some clarification please. I am new at this and want to get it right.
Unless I am mistaken it seems that the simplified wiring diagram posted on the "R7 stuff" forum contradicts what the building instructions say regarding to wiring sequence of the spindle so I am unsure how to proceed.
Building instructions: Wire 1 > U , Wire 2 > V , Wire 3 > W Simplified Wiring diagram: Wire 1 > W , Wire 2 > U, Wire 3 > V
The power connections are also different:
Building instructions: Black wire > S , White wire > R Wiring diagram: Black wire > R , White wire > S
I was supplied with a Nowforever D100S2R2B inverter for reference (R7 kit from SMW3D).
Also, could you please point me to instructions of the wiring the inverter to the TinyG?
